Solid view of the pier, and I can never complain about being close to the beach. The bar in the lower ground floor offers direct seating overlooking the shore—perfect for watching the waves while grabbing a drink.
Breakfast left a lot to be desired. boiled mushrooms ridiculously salty and some hash browns were still frozen inside. For safety, a deadbolt on the door would ease the mind a bit.

Eastbourne's dining scene had some gems! Had a blast at All Decked Out, which served up phenomenal seafood bites. Afterward, we hit The Shore Bar for some cheeky drinks—it’s got a buzz! My Double Room with Sea View was fresh and comfy, perfect for chillin' out post-adventure.

The room was spacious with comfy beds, and we loved the proximity to the pier. Our family enjoyed an Open Top Bus Tour, which was a hit with the kids. The coffee shop had delicious treats that pleased everyone.
My kids wished for less noise at night. it was quite distracting. a pool would have been great for family fun.

The view of the pier and sea from my room was amazing, and the comfy bed made my stay super relaxing. I loved chilling on the beach and using the quaint lift to get to my third-floor room. The only hiccup was the lukewarm hair dryer, but it didn’t spoil my time one bit! 😊

Had a great time with a group of friends! We enjoyed the local theatres and went on an open top bus tour to Beachy Head. The staff was helpful, and the clean rooms were a big plus. Perfect location near the seafront! Just expect some street noise at night.
One downside was the bar closing earlier than expected.

The family room was impressively spacious and impeccably clean, providing us with a comfortable environment during our stay. The friendly staff added to the experience, ensuring we felt welcomed. the absence of Irish soda bread on the breakfast menu was a disappointment, and the limited parking options posed a slight inconvenience. A few minor maintenance issues were noted but did not detract significantly from our overall enjoyment.

Great views, not so great parking
The location is a plus, right across from the pier, so that's awesome. Breakfast was pretty good too, but the parking situation is a nightmare! The staff tried to help, but it was just chaos, and the room felt cramped. Just barely enough space for our bags. Previous reviews weren’t kidding about the size!

Perfect for a seaside break!
Me and my partner had a fab stay! Our room was super spacious with amazing sea views and high ceilings, which made it feel so big and breezy. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty, but wish they had more fruit options. Location was spot on for exploring Eastbourne!

the pier hotel was super clean & had really friendly staff who were all very helpful. loved the comfy single room with a sea view, totally felt at home during my stay. the location is amazing, right by the pier. Breakfast every day was yummy and a great way to start. enjoyed chillin in the nice public spaces and getting to watch tennis at the bar next door.
we had a few minor issues like the hair dryer not working well and some electric sockets being in awkward spots. overall, it could use a bit more attention to detail in the rooms.

Staying at The Pier was quite an experience. The location was perfect, right opposite the Pier, making it easy for beach access. My room had a lovely sea view, which was amazing to wake up to. The decor felt modern, and the bed was really comfortable, giving me a good night's sleep. Staff were generally friendly, and I appreciated how quick they were to address my requests. I did face some issues. The shower temperature was inconsistent, which made things a bit frustrating. the cleanliness of the bathroom wasn't up to par. it needed a better clean before my arrival. There was no room service during my stay, which was inconvenient since I expected at least basic housekeeping like replacing toiletries and emptying trash bins. Parking could also be a hassle. I struggled a bit to find a spot nearby. Despite these issues, I enjoyed the atmosphere and would consider coming back.
